At the age of 19 I first came into contact with yoga and since then I have been able to experience the value day after day. It is a beautiful 'tool' that helped me to make my weakness my strength, namely my great sensitivity.

In 2002 I found it important to pass on something valuable to the next generation, and it was natural for me that I would give yoga classes to children from 6 to 12 years old. That is how Huis van Eden was created and I worked as a secondary school teacher for children. Later, on repeated requests from the parents, I offered yoga classes to adults and seniors.

In 2011, 2012 and 2013 I came on TV (Man bijt Hond, Telefacts and JimTV) related to child yoga and yoga.

Soon I noticed that with yoga I achieved healing results in both children and adults.
That is why I went deeper into the healing aspect of it.

What started with (kundalini) yoga, breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation techniques was followed by training as energy healing, shamanism, creative and attention therapy.

In 2018 I started the 'Go for Healing' practice. The new name of the practice corresponds more to the work I did these last years.

I made the switch from my energy-saving job in the business world to the less stressful life and the meaningful healing work many years ago.

Through the combination of years of practical experience and more specialized training, I have been able to deepen myself more and more into the energetic systems of man and his spirituality.

Life is a big journey with fascinating, joyful, but also difficult and sad episodes.
The way you react to this makes the big difference!

My mission is to help you create a happy life by developing your greatest potential in well-being and awareness growth. I guide you in learning to trust in your own wisdom, the wisdom of your body and in your intuition.

It is an honor for me to be able to contribute to your well-being and happiness.

Belgian School for shamanism (2017 - 2019)

"More than ten thousand years ago, our ancestors around the world discovered how to maximize human mind and spiritual gifts for healing and problem solving. The remarkable methods they have developed for this are nowadays called "shamanism", a term derived from the Siberian word "shaman" (shaman, pronounced shah-mahn).

A shaman is a kind of archaic psychotherapist (therapive = Greek for nurturing and psyche = soul, so an archaic carer of the soul) who is famous for doing trance journeys to hidden worlds otherwise known only through myths, dreams and near-death experiences.

We follow a contemporary ritual according to the method of Michael Harner that is adapted to our modern Western society.

When we manage to look at ourselves, our environment and our experiences without judgment, respect arises. The three key words harmony, love and respect are essential in the practice of shamanistic techniques." Extract from the website of the BSVS

Practical Mysticism for Personal Mastery (Certificate)

I followed my training with Peggy Dylan, who is internationally renowned. She is one of the pioneers of Rebirthing (both "dry" rebirthing and in the water) in the 60s and 70s of last century.

In publications she is called a practical mystic.

Balance, Center for social education & training (2008 - 2011)

Creative & Attention therapy (with great distinction)

I got to know Marleen during the Creative Therapy in Balance (Ghent) program where I am a lecturer and course coordinator. What has stuck with her is that she can be patient, aware and attentive, the respect, serenity and sincere interest with which she approaches the client and the creative and tailor-made management of the therapeutic process. Energy Medicine

This is a healing system that takes into account all the different energy systems of humans.
By working on this, we stimulate the self-healing ability of the body. Because we work on all those energy systems, healing takes place, not only physically, but also emotionally, psychically and spiritually.
This system is complementary to the Buqi: the Chinese healing system.

I followed my training with Donna Eden who is internationally renowned. She is a pioneer in the field of energetic medicine with over forty years of experience.
